Excited for Spain!
Nial: Cadiz, Spain Homestay: Hola! My name is Nial and I am
a 9th grader at Atlantic High School in Delray Beach, FL. I will be
traveling to a small city in Spain with the Abbey Road Program. I am really excited to
travel, meet new people, improve my spanish, and enjoy new experiences/cultures on my trip. I will share my experiences on this blog during the three-week
immersion homestay program.
Spanish has always been my favorite class, and this summer I can finally take
this interest to the next level. This immersion program will go beyond verb
conjugation in the classroom – I will have the opportunity to actually apply
knowledge of the Spanish language, as I will be staying with a Spanish family
that does not speak English. I’m especially hoping to improve my speech, which
has always been my weakness. Wish me luck! I’m so excited for the trip, and
July can’t come fast enough.
